"Love In...Love Out!!!"

     Parents! Here is a great perk for loving your children unconditionally!  They will someday return that love to you! Let's face it from the beginning we love it when I children say the magic words, "I wuv  u" and the world stops!  But guess what?  It gets better and better! When you show your children love you receive an everlasting love!  It is so important to realize that the most important thing you can give your children is love from your heart and love for God!  Because when they are dealing with life battles, God's love and your love are the only weapons they can use!
   Plant the seeds of love in your babies!  Nourish the seeds you have planted with more love as a fertilizer!  Grow those wonderful  little people in a garden of love and one day, every day hopefully they will return the love.  I have total faith that they will! Love in ...Love out!!!

"Pay IT Forward!"

    Pay it forward to your children!  Do something really really nice for them! These are the things that memories are made of!  These memories are worth so much more because they are priceless! You will also be teaching your children  valuable life lessons!  You will be teaching your children how to pay forward!  They will learn firsthand how to do more for others!  Truly the world can be a better place when we all pay forward!!!

"Keep The Main Thing the Main Thing!"

     Parents, it is so very important that you prioritize and keep the main thing the main thing when you are raising you children.  It is so very important that you let your children know that you love them!   It is so very important that we let them know that we adore them and that we will always be there for them.  We must give our children "unconditional love"  the type of love that God gives us.
     We must keep the main thing the main thin by showing our children how much we love them by our actions.  Love on your little ones and big ones (they are your babies too!) as much as possible! Show your love...Keep  The Main Thing The Main Thing!!!

"Bullying the Bully!"

      Many many years ago, my father was in his forties and I was in my early teens and I was hit on the head by another student with a book, while riding a school bus.  My father was very unhappy about someone hitting his youngest daughter, so the next day he went on the bus and told the young man that he should not be hitting girls under any circumstances and that he absolutely could not hit me again! Well needless to say, I never had any problems with this young man again.  And this was my blessing, I was glad my dad intervened.
     Now let's fast forward to the year 2010...Should parents approach the children who are bullying their children.  There is such a fine line between intervention and harassment and intimidation, and I am not here to draw lines.  Of course I think my dad intervened, he did not harass the young man!  He told him gently not to hurt me again and no curse words were used.
     My advice would be for parents to go through the appropriate channels and work with the school's administration today!  Life has changed and it is a different world then when I was a teenager!  Bullying has to be addressed, it cannot be swept under the rug!  What if it was your child who was being bullyied?  What if your child was the bully?  Walk a mile in either of those parents shoes and all sets of those shoes are uncomfortable!
      I would love to hear your opinions on whether parents should "bully the bully" or should they go through the appropriate channels for handling disputes?  What if following the appropriate channels are not working?  Share your wisdom!!!

"Miner Details!"

     During the recent Miracle in Chile, did you see the pure joy on the faces of the people who saw there relatives face to face after their harrowing ordeal in a Chilean mine?  Did you perchance see the faces of the miner's children? There faces were bautifully etched in my mind forever and I actually saw so much love that it was overwhelming!
     God is such an awesome God and in His infinite wisdom to restore all 33 men back to their families is truly one of the most awesome miracles I have observed in my lifetime!  I am so thankful that he returned so many fathers to their wives, parents, relatives, and friends but I am extremely delighted that he returned these fathers to their children!
    May God continue to bless the Miracle Miners, their families, friends, and chidren and May God bless all readers!

"Love Your Children With All Of Your Body, Heart, Mind, and Soul...Focus!!!

          Parents we need to focus!  We need to focus on our children with all we have!  All we have includes our bodies, hearts, minds, and souls!  We have to look out for our children!  They are still very innocent and contrary to their beliefs...they need us!
     Do not listen to that teenager who truly believes that he/she knows everything!  They know nothing! It is our job to oversee what is going on with them and in their lives! Have no regrets!  Protect them! Yes, cut those apron strings, but don't leave them high and dry!  They will always be yours and you will always be theirs!
     Love your children with all of your body, heart, mind, and soul!  And I am certain that they will someday return the favor!
