" Your Children Are Not Your Children and It's Not About You!"

     Your children are not your children!  They belong to God!  They were lent to you to provide them with love, knowledge, skills, wisdom  and discipline! When I realized that my children belonged to God I realized that I had a greater responsiblity to teach them about Our Father!  Let's face it,  life is all about Him!  Life is not about us!  Without God we would have nothing and we would certainly not have our children!
     Give God the praise and the glory and thank for all that He does for us and  our (His) children!!!

"You've Got The Look!"

     Give your children that "look" when you see them!  You know that look that says,  "I love you so very much and I would not trade you for the world!" Children need to see your expression of love!  They need  and want proof that you love them!  It is so easy to talk the talk, but it is so much harder to walk the walk and "show your love!"
      Create that look of love in your eyes and watch the magic happen and if you are really blessed your child will return that magical look to you!

"Give Your Children A Valuable Gift, Your Time!"

        Give your children a valuable gift!  Give them your time!  They need to spend time with you to build a lasting relationship with you!  They need to be in your presence to learn those "life lessons" that only parents can teach!  Give your child priceless information that you have learned from your victories and mistakes!  Give your child everything that you can give him or her!  They will need this valuable information to survive in this everchanging world!
     Bless your child with your knowledge, wisdom, skill, talents and love!  Give them these awesome gifts and see the benefits of sharing wonderful knowledge with your child! Wonderful information in, wonderful information out!

"The World Would Be A Better Place If We All Looked At The World Through The Eyes of A Child!"

        The world would be truly a better place if we all looked at the world through the eyes of a child! The world would be a place where we could have lots of unconditional love!  The world would be filled with beauty that we would see and recognize and we would not be too busy or too distracted to smell and enjoy the pretty flowers, especially the roses!
     We would not judge people by the color of their skin, or by the type of home that they live in or the clothes that they wear or the car that they drive!  All those things would not matter!  Children have an uncanny way of loving people just because they are people! We should all learn this valuable lesson from children!
      The world would be a better place if we all looked at the world through the eyes of a child!

"Sweet Tales from Tots and Teenagers!"/"Inquiring Minds Want to Know!!!"

      When my youngest son was two years old he came to me with a  extraordinary question.  He inquired with an intense look, " Mommy, when God entered the garden of Eden did He walk in or did He fly in?"  Then he declared emphatically, " Mommy you know He had to power to fly!"
    When my oldest was two he also asked a very poignant question.  He asked, "Mommy where were we before we were born?"  "Were we in heaven talking to God?"  Then he said vehemently, "I believe we were in heaven talking to God."
      Recently they both came to me they are now 14 and 17 years old and they are still asking those awesome questions.  They both posed the same questions after studying Anatomy  in their respective classes.  They inquired," Mom do you think when God created the human body he took a lot of time to design the human body and really figure out  how to make each system work so well together  or do you think because He is God He just created our bodies without having to contemplate each and every detail?'
    My children never cease to amaze me with their  wonderful poignant inquiries and I am so pleased that did not ask, "Does God exist?"  Notice at the early age of two they knew God existed and at 14 and 17 they still know He exists!!!!
      My children knowing and loving God and Jesus is truly "the greatest gift" that they could give me!

"Mother's Day Gifts That Money Cannot Buy!"

          My oldest 17 year old son  came to me on Mother's Day and said, "Mom I just really wanted you to know that I love you.'  My heart was touched as I looked int o his gorgeous brown eyes and witnessed pure love pouring out of his eyes, heart and soul!"  I almost cried!  Yes, my sons tell me that they love me all the time and I feel the love but this moment in time will always be held in my heart!  It was a very spontaneous ans special moment and I was pleased and I told him that I loved him too!  I told him thank you and I would place his gift in my heart and keep it there eternally!
     My youngest son really surprised me with his gift!  He is now 14 years old and he amazed me!  I had not experienced this type of joy since he and his brother were little tykes!  He gave me 100 kisses for Mother's Day on my cheek and I experienced pure motherly love and joy as I giggled through my heartfelt kisses!
     I am truly a blessed woman, but more importantly I am truly a blessed mother!!!
     I praise God for the honor and the privilege of being a mother!
